UCLA Extension Custom Programs Features

Custom-designed programs can be offered at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles, California or on-site at a client’s worksite (whether overseas or in the United States). Program options vary depending on the location of the venue selected by the client. These programs can be offered in various instructional formats typically lasting one to three weeks; however, some programs have been offered in formats of up to 12 weeks. Some UCLA Extension programs can incorporate elements of online instruction or can be offered entirely online.

 

What’s included?

UCLA Extension provides:

  • Program curriculum development and content
  • Program planning, organization, and administration
  • Instructor selection
  • Classroom facilities at UCLA Extension
  • Records of Participation to all participants who successfully complete the program
  • Opening welcome lunch and/or closing ceremony (optional)

If required:

  • Official Transcripts
  • Visa-related documents (including invitation letter)
  • Participant health insurance
  • Arrangements and transportation to site visits
  • Consecutive interpretation during classroom sessions and site visits

Upon Request:

  • Morning refreshments for participants during the program
  • Additional meals and/or meal cards for on-campus dining
  • Recreation Cards for access to UCLA campus recreation facilities

Client provides:

  • Selection of participants
  • Detailed list of participants (including companies, titles, departments, level, etc.)
  • Securing appropriate visas for participants’ entry into the U.S.
  • All arrangements for and expense of participants’ travel
  • All lodging and personal effects for participants
  • All dining arrangements for participants with the exception of those mentioned above
  • Payment for all program fees

For On-Site Programs:

  • Classroom facilities and audio/visual equipment
  • Parking accommodation for instructors and UCLA Extension representatives
  • For programs outside of Los Angeles: instructor’s round-trip airfare, hotel accommodation, ground transportation, and meals
